Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect pedal to machine port.
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc, press pedal.
  5. Thread machine: Follow threading guide printed on machine.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; test on scrap fabric first.

  1. Select stitch: Turn dial to desired stitch pattern.
  2. Adjust settings: Set stitch length and tension according to fabric.
  3. Thread machine: Use built-in needle threader if needed.
  4. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in case, pull thread through slot.
  5. Begin sewing: Place fabric under presser foot, lower foot, press pedal gently.

CAUTION! Always use correct needle size for fabric type. Replace bent or dull needles immediately.

  4. Control movement: Guide fabric manually in any direction.
  5. Return to normal: Raise feed dogs when finished.
