Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect to machine port at front right.
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side toward back.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, follow threading guide to wind bobbin.
  5. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread running counterclockwise.
  6. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing needle.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow basic threading procedure.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Use automatic needle threader: Pull lever down to thread needle automatically.
  3. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.
  4. Select basic straight stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to position 1.
  5. Practice on scrap fabric: Use both hands to guide fabric smoothly.
  6. Adjust stitch length: Use length control for different fabric types.

Buttonhole Function

One-step automatic buttonhole creation.

  1. Attach buttonhole foot: Snap onto machine.
  2. Select buttonhole stitch: Turn dial to "B" position.
  3. Place fabric: Position under foot with markings aligned.
  4. Lower presser foot: Ensure fabric is flat.
  5. Start sewing: Machine automatically creates complete buttonhole.
  6. Reinforce: Machine automatically backstitches at beginning and end.
  7. Cut opening: Use seam ripper to carefully open buttonhole.

WARNING! Always use buttonhole foot for buttonholes. Never force fabric through machine.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Remove lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil hook race and moving parts (use sewing machine oil only).
  3. Monthly: Clean tension discs with soft brush.
  4. As needed: Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing.
  5. Storage: Cover machine when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.
