Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Place machine on flat, stable surface at comfortable height.
  3. Connect foot control pedal to machine port.
  4. Plug power cord into electrical outlet.
  5. Install needle following directional markings.
  6. Wind bobbin and thread machine according to threading diagram.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing needles.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedures.

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading path from spool to needle.
  2. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc.
  3. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  4. Select basic stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to straight stitch (position 1).
  5. Test sew: Use scrap fabric to test stitch quality and tension.
  6. Adjust tension: Use tension dial if stitches are too loose or tight.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Keep work area clean and well-lit.

Stitch Selection: Turn dial to select from 50 built-in stitches. Stitch Length: Adjust from 0 (darning) to 4mm (basting). Stitch Width: Adjust from 0-5mm for zigzag and decorative stitches. Reverse: Hold button for reinforcement stitching. Tension: Adjust dial for balanced stitches (4 is normal setting).

Stitch Selection

  1. Turn stitch selection dial to desired stitch number.

Buttonhole Function

One-step automatic buttonhole creates perfect buttonholes in one continuous operation.

  1. Attach buttonhole foot and mark buttonhole position.
  2. Select buttonhole stitch on dial.
  3. Place fabric under foot, lower presser foot.
  4. Start sewing - machine automatically creates buttonhole.
  5. Machine stops automatically when buttonhole is complete.
  6. Use seam ripper to open buttonhole carefully.

WARNING! Always practice on scrap fabric first. Ensure button is correct size for buttonhole.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance.
  2. Remove needle plate to clean lint from feed dogs and bobbin area.
  3. Use small brush to remove dust and lint from all accessible areas.
  4. Oil machine according to lubrication points in manual (if required).
  5. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  6. Cover machine when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.

CAUTION! Never use compressed air as it can force lint deeper into mechanism.
