Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from carrying case.
  2. Position machine: Place on stable surface with adequate lighting.

  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, follow threading guide.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; test stitches on scrap fabric.

  1. Select straight stitch: Turn stitch selector to position 1.
  2. Set stitch length: Adjust to medium setting (2.5).
  3. Place fabric: Lower presser foot and begin sewing slowly.
  4. Practice reverse: Hold reverse button to reinforce stitches.
  5. Test different stitches: Experiment with all 22 built-in stitches.
  6. Create buttonhole: Follow 4-step buttonhole procedure.

CAUTION! Always use proper needle for fabric type. Change needle regularly.
