Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Install foot controller: Plug into machine port.
  3. Connect power: Plug machine into electrical outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc.
  6. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread counterclockwise.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing accessories.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedure.

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Use automatic needle threader: Push lever down to thread needle.
  3. Select stitch: Use dial or touch screen to choose desired stitch.
  4. Adjust settings: Set stitch length, width, and tension as needed.
  5. Begin sewing: Place fabric under presser foot, lower foot, and press foot controller.

CAUTION! Always use proper needle for fabric type. Test stitches on scrap fabric first.

  2. Align presser foot with ankle and lower lever to lock.
  3. Attach embroidery unit: Slide into position until click is heard.
  4. Install extension table: Snap into place on free arm.

Using Memory Functions

Store and recall custom stitch combinations.

  1. Select stitches: Choose desired stitch pattern and settings.
  2. Save to memory: Press MEMORY button, select storage location (1-50).
  3. Recall memory: Press RECALL, choose stored combination number.
  4. Edit memory: Recall stored pattern, make changes, save to same location.
  5. Delete memory: Access memory menu, select pattern, choose delete option.

NOTE: Memory is retained when machine is powered off.
