Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from carrying case.
  2. Install foot controller: Connect to machine port.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Attach presser foot: Lower presser foot lever to snap into place.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Setup

Prepare machine for first use.

  1. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, guide through tension, wind onto bobbin.
  2. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread clockwise.
  3. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  4. Use needle threader: Push down lever to automatically thread needle.
  5. Test stitches: Select straight stitch and sew on scrap fabric.

CAUTION! Always use correct needle size for fabric type. Replace bent needles immediately.

Feed Dog Drop Lever: Lower for free-motion sewing.

Presser Foot Lever: Raise and lower presser foot.

Handwheel: Manual control of needle position.

Threading and Bobbin

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Place spool on spool pin with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  3. Follow numbered threading path: Through thread guide, tension discs, take-up lever.
  4. Use automatic needle threader: Push down lever, hook thread through eye.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, engage lock mechanism.
  6. Insert bobbin: Drop into case with thread coming clockwise.
  7. Pull thread through slot and under tension spring.

Tip: Always thread with presser foot raised to open tension discs.

Stitch Selection

8 built-in stitches for various sewing needs.

  1. Straight Stitch: For basic sewing (position 1)
  2. Zigzag Stitch: For finishing edges and appliqué (position 2)
  3. Blind Hem Stitch: For nearly invisible hems (position 3)
  4. Elastic Stitch: For stretch fabrics (position 4)
  5. Decorative Stitches: For embellishment (positions 5-7)
  6. Buttonhole Stitch: 4-step process (position 8)

Buttonhole Instructions:

  1. Mark buttonhole position on fabric
  2. Select buttonhole stitch (position 8)
  3. Sew left side (step 1)
  4. Sew bottom bar (step 2)
  5. Sew right side (step 3)
  6. Sew top bar (step 4)

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Cleaning: Remove lint from bobbin area and feed dogs regularly.
  2. Oiling: Apply sewing machine oil to moving parts as needed.
  3. Needle replacement: Change needle after 8-10 hours of sewing.
