Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift machine by base, not by handwheel or accessories.

  3. Guide fabric gently; let feed dogs move fabric automatically.
  4. Use reverse stitch at beginning and end of seams for reinforcement.
  5. For free-motion sewing: Lower feed dogs using drop feed lever.
  6. Change presser feet for different techniques (zipper foot, buttonhole foot, etc.).
  7. Use built-in needle plate window to follow seam guides accurately.

WARNING! Never pull fabric through machine; let feed dogs advance fabric. Keep fingers clear of moving needle.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug machine before cleaning and maintenance.

  1. Remove needle plate: Use screwdriver to access bobbin area.
  2. Clean lint and dust: Use small brush to remove debris from feed dogs and bobbin area.
  3. Oil moving parts: Apply sewing machine oil to designated points as shown in diagram.
  4. Replace needle regularly: Dull or bent needles cause poor stitch quality.
