Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface at comfortable working height.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and protective covers
  2. Place machine on sturdy table or sewing cabinet
  3. Connect foot control to machine
  4. Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet
  5. Install needle following arrow direction
  6. Wind and install bobbin
  7. Thread upper thread through needle threader

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing accessories.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; test basic functions.

  1. Select straight stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to position 1
  2. Set stitch length: Adjust to 2.5 for medium stitch
  3. Set stitch width: Set to 0 for straight stitch
  4. Practice on scrap fabric: Hold fabric with both hands
  5. Use reverse lever: Sew backward to lock stitches
  6. Experiment with different stitches: Try zigzag and decorative patterns

Buttonhole Function

  1. Attach buttonhole foot and mark buttonhole position
  2. Set stitch selection dial to step 1 (right side)
  3. Sew right side of buttonhole to desired length
  4. Turn dial to step 2 (bartack) for forward stitches
  5. Turn dial to step 3 (left side) and sew back
  6. Turn dial to step 4 (bartack) to complete
  7. Cut buttonhole open with seam ripper

WARNING! Always use buttonhole foot. Practice on scrap fabric first.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning
  2. Remove needle plate and clean lint buildup
  3. Oil moving parts as indicated in manual
  4. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth
  5. Check needle regularly for damage
  6. Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing
