Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove protective packaging and covers from machine.
  2. Install foot controller: Plug into machine's foot controller port.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and electrical outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Follow bobbin winding instructions in manual.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing accessories.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow threading diagram.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  3. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  4. Test sew: Use scrap fabric to test stitch settings.
  5. Adjust tension: Use tension dial if stitches are uneven.

CAUTION! Always use proper needle for fabric type. Replace bent or damaged needles immediately.

Stitch Selection

  3. Adjust stitch width for decorative effects or seam finishing.
  4. Test stitch on scrap fabric before sewing project.
  5. Use reverse button to secure beginning and end of seams.

Buttonhole Function

One-step automatic buttonhole creates perfect buttonholes every time.

  1. Attach buttonhole foot to machine.
  2. Select buttonhole stitch on dial.
  3. Place fabric under foot and lower presser foot.
  4. Press foot controller - machine sews complete buttonhole automatically.
  5. Use seam ripper to open buttonhole center.

WARNING! Always practice on scrap fabric first. Ensure buttonhole size matches button diameter.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate to clean lint from bobbin area.
  3. Use small brush to remove dust and lint from feed dogs.
  4. Oil machine according to manual instructions (if required).
  5. Cover machine when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.

CAUTION! Never use compressed air to clean machine as it can force lint deeper into mechanism.
