Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from carrying case.
  2. Install foot controller: Connect to machine and plug into power outlet.
  3. Thread the machine: Follow threading diagram from spool pin to needle.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder and follow winding procedure.
  5. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in case with thread pulling counterclockwise.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Plug in machine and test basic functions.

  1. Power connection: Plug foot controller into machine and wall outlet.
  2. Needle installation: Insert needle with flat side to the back, tighten screw.
  3. Thread tension: Set to 4 for normal sewing; adjust for fabric type.
  4. Stitch selection: Turn dial to desired stitch pattern.
  5. Test sewing: Use scrap fabric to test stitch quality and tension.

CAUTION! Always turn hand wheel toward you; never force the machine.

Stitch Selection

Tip: Always test stitch on scrap fabric before sewing project.

Buttonhole Function

4-step buttonhole creation for perfect buttonholes every time.

  1. Step 1: Zigzag stitch on left side - lower needle into fabric
  2. Step 2: Straight stitch forward - sew desired buttonhole length
  3. Step 3: Zigzag stitch on right side - same as step 1 but opposite side
  4. Step 4: Straight stitch backward - complete the buttonhole

WARNING! Always use buttonhole foot and practice on scrap fabric first.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs
  2. Weekly: Oil moving parts with sewing machine oil
  3. Monthly: Clean race hook and check for thread buildup
  4. As needed: Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing
