Installation

Basic Sewing Operations

Follow standard sewing procedures for optimal results.

  1. Prepare fabric: Press and align edges properly.
  2. Select stitch: Choose appropriate pattern for fabric and purpose.
  3. Set tension: Adjust for fabric weight (usually 4 for medium fabrics).
  4. Begin sewing: Lower presser foot, depress foot controller gently.
  5. Guide fabric: Let machine feed fabric; don't pull or push.
  6. Reverse: Use reverse button to secure seam ends.
  7. Finish: Raise needle, lift presser foot, remove fabric.

WARNING! Always turn handwheel toward you. Never force machine operation.

Buttonhole Function

Create perfect buttonholes automatically with one-step function.

  1. Select buttonhole stitch: Turn dial to buttonhole position.
  2. Attach buttonhole foot: Replace standard foot with buttonhole foot.
  3. Position fabric: Mark buttonhole placement on fabric.
  4. Place button: Insert in back of buttonhole foot for size measurement.
  5. Sew buttonhole: Machine automatically creates all four sides.
  6. Cut opening: Use seam ripper to open buttonhole carefully.

Practice: Make test buttonholes on scrap fabric first.
