Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Place machine on flat, stable surface at comfortable height.
  3. Connect foot pedal to machine and place on floor.
  4. Plug power cord into machine and electrical outlet.
  5. Install needle and thread machine following threading diagram.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing needle.

First-Time Setup

Power on machine; follow setup procedures.

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading path from spool to needle.
  2. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder and thread through tension disc.
  3. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread pulling counterclockwise.
  4. Select basic stitch: Turn dial to straight stitch position.
  5. Test sew: Use scrap fabric to test machine operation.

CAUTION! Ensure proper needle installation with flat side to back. Use correct needle type for fabric.

WARNING! Never pull fabric while sewing. Let feed dogs move fabric naturally.

Care & Maintenance
