Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Install foot controller: Connect to machine's foot control jack.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, follow bobbin winding diagram.
  6. Thread machine: Follow threading path indicated on machine.

WARNING! Always unplug machine when changing needles or performing maintenance. Keep fingers away from moving parts.

Basic Operation

Power on machine; follow initial setup procedures.

  1. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  2. Adjust stitch settings: Use length and width adjustment buttons.
  3. Test stitch: Sew on scrap fabric to check settings.
  4. Begin sewing: Place fabric under presser foot, lower foot, and press foot controller.
  5. Finish sewing: Raise needle to highest position, lift presser foot, remove fabric.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Never pull fabric while sewing.

Advanced Functions

Memory Function: Store up to 10 stitch combinations for quick recall. Mirror Imaging: Create symmetrical decorative patterns. Needle Stop Position: Program needle to stop in up or down position. Automatic Thread Cutter: Cut top and bobbin threads with single button press.

  1. To save stitch combination: Select stitches and settings, press MEMORY button.
  2. To recall: Press MEMORY and select stored combination number.
  3. For mirror image: Press MIRROR button before or during sewing.

WARNING! Always test new stitch combinations on scrap fabric first.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug machine before cleaning. Remove lint buildup regularly.

  1. Clean bobbin area: Remove bobbin case and brush away lint.
  2. Oil machine: Apply sewing machine oil to designated points as shown in diagram.
  3. Clean feed dogs: Use small brush to remove lint from teeth.
  4. Check needle: Replace bent or dull needles immediately.

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Never use household oils.
