Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers
  2. Place machine on flat, stable surface
  3. Connect foot controller to machine
  4. Plug power cord into electrical outlet
  5. Install needle following directional guide
  6. Wind and insert bobbin
  7. Thread upper thread through automatic needle threader

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing needle.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedure.

  1. Turn power switch to ON position
  2. Select straight stitch using stitch selection dial
  3. Practice on scrap fabric to test tension
  4. Adjust stitch length and width as needed
  5. Test reverse stitch function
  6. Practice with different built-in stitches
  7. Learn auto buttonhole function with buttonhole foot

CAUTION! Always use proper needle for fabric type. Replace bent or damaged needles immediately.

Stitch Selection: Turn dial to choose from 20 built-in stitches. Stitch Length: Adjust from 0-4mm for different fabrics. Stitch Width: Adjust up to 5mm for decorative stitches. Tension: Adjust thread tension dial for balanced stitches.

  1. Turn stitch selection dial to desired stitch number
  2. Adjust stitch length for fabric type (shorter for delicate, longer for heavy)
  3. Adjust stitch width for zigzag and decorative stitches

  5. Use reverse stitch to secure beginnings and endings
  6. For buttonholes: Attach buttonhole foot and follow automatic sequence

Bobbin and Threading

  1. Bobbin Winding: Place thread on spool pin, guide through bobbin winder tension, press foot controller
  2. Bobbin Insertion: Place bobbin in case with thread pulling counterclockwise
  3. Upper Threading: Follow numbered guide from spool to needle
  4. Needle Threading: Use automatic needle threader for easy threading
  5. Draw Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn hand wheel toward you

WARNING! Always raise needle to highest position before threading. Ensure presser foot is raised when threading.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning
  2. Remove needle plate to clean lint from bobbin area
  3. Use small brush to remove dust and lint
  4. Oil moving parts as recommended in manual
  5. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth
  6. Store with cover when not in use

Troubleshooting
