Installation and Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers from machine.
  2. Attach power cord to machine and plug into electrical outlet.
  3. Install foot controller into designated port.
  4. Wind bobbin using bobbin winding system.
  5. Insert bobbin into top-loading bobbin case.
  6. Thread upper thread using automatic needle threader.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing accessories.

Basic Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedure for first use.

Buttonhole Function

One-step automatic buttonhole system.

  1. Attach buttonhole foot to machine.
  2. Select buttonhole stitch on dial.
  3. Place button in buttonhole foot to automatically size buttonhole.
  4. Lower presser foot and start sewing - machine will complete entire buttonhole automatically.
  5. Reinforce beginning and end with a few reverse stitches.
  6. Cut buttonhole open using seam ripper or buttonhole cutter.

WARNING! Always test buttonhole on scrap fabric first. Ensure proper foot is attached securely.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance.
  2. Clean bobbin area regularly with small brush provided.
  3. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  4. Oil machine as directed in maintenance section using sewing machine oil only.
  5. Replace needle regularly (after 8-10 hours of sewing).
  6. Check and clean feed dogs periodically.

CAUTION! Never use compressed air to clean machine. Use only recommended sewing machine oil.
