Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift machine by handle, remove all protective materials.
  2. Attach accessories: Install foot control, power cord, and accessory box.
  3. Set up workspace: Ensure stable table with adequate lighting.
  4. Connect to power: Plug into standard household outlet.

First-Time Setup

Power on machine; follow initial setup procedures.

Basic Sewing Operations

Follow proper threading and setup for optimal performance.

  1. Turn power switch to ON position.
  2. Select desired stitch using stitch selection dial.
  3. Adjust stitch length and width as needed.
  4. Place fabric under presser foot, lower presser foot lever.
  5. Begin sewing using foot control or start/stop button.
  6. Use reverse stitch button to reinforce stitching.
  7. Raise presser foot and remove fabric when finished.

Tip: Always use the recommended presser foot for selected stitch.

Stitch Selection

Choose from 50 built-in stitches for various applications.

  1. Utility Stitches: Straight stitch, zigzag, stretch stitches
  2. Decorative Stitches: Scallop, hemstitch, fancy patterns
  3. Buttonhole: One-step automatic buttonhole
  4. Blind Hem: For invisible hemming
  5. Overcast: For finishing fabric edges
  6. Elastic Stitches: For knit and stretch fabrics

WARNING! Always test stitch on scrap fabric before sewing project.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Clean bobbin area regularly with brush provided
  2. Oil machine as indicated in manual (specific points only)
  3. Replace needle regularly (every 8-10 hours of sewing)
  4. Check and clean feed dogs
  5. Inspect power cord for damage

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft brush to remove lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.

CAUTION! Do not use compressed air; can force lint into mechanism. Never immerse machine in water.
