Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Place machine on flat, stable surface at comfortable height.
  3. Connect foot control pedal to machine.
  4. Plug power cord into AC outlet.
  5. Install needle following arrow direction.
  6. Wind and insert bobbin.
  7. Thread upper thread through automatic needle threader.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedure.

  1. Turn power switch to ON position.
  2. Select basic straight stitch using stitch selection dial.
  3. Place fabric under presser foot and lower foot lever.
  4. Gently press foot control to begin sewing.
  5. Practice basic stitches on scrap fabric first.
  6. Adjust stitch length and width as needed.
  7. Use reverse button to secure stitches.

CAUTION! Always use proper needle for fabric type. Keep work area clean and well-lit.

Stitch Selection & Sewing

  1. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.

  3. Position fabric: Place under presser foot and lower lever.
  4. Begin sewing: Press foot control gently to start.
  5. Guide fabric: Let machine feed fabric; do not pull.
  6. Reverse: Press reverse button to secure stitches.
  7. Finish: Raise needle, lift presser foot, remove fabric.
  8. Cut threads: Use automatic thread cutter or scissors.

WARNING! Never force fabric through machine. Keep fingers away from moving needle.
