Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Carefully lift machine from box, remove all protective materials.
  2. Set up work area: Ensure adequate lighting and space around machine.
  3. Connect foot control: Plug foot control into machine port.
  4. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  5. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off and unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedures.

  1. Wind bobbin: Place thread spool on pin, guide thread through tension, wind bobbin evenly.
  2. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in case with thread pulling counterclockwise, pull thread through slot.
  3. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path, use automatic needle threader.
  4. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn hand wheel toward you to bring up bobbin thread.
  5. Test stitches: Use scrap fabric to test stitch settings and tension.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Keep hands clear of moving parts.
