Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers from machine.
  2. Place machine on flat, stable surface at comfortable working height.
  3. Connect foot control pedal to machine and plug into power outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, follow threading guide, wind bobbin evenly.
  6. Insert bobbin: Open bobbin cover, insert bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise.

WARNING! Always unplug machine when not in use or when performing maintenance.

First-Time Operation

Plug in machine and follow setup procedure.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Use automatic needle threader: Pull down threader lever, place thread in hook, release lever.
  3. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn hand wheel toward you to bring up bobbin thread.
  4. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  5. Adjust stitch length and width as needed for your project.
  6. Test sew on scrap fabric to ensure proper tension and stitch formation.

CAUTION! Keep fingers away from moving needle during operation.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance.
  2. Clean lint from bobbin area and feed dogs after each project.
  3. Oil machine as directed in manual using only recommended sewing machine oil.
  4. Replace needle regularly (after 8-10 hours of sewing).
  5. Cover machine when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.
  6. Check belt tension periodically and adjust if necessary.
