Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers
  2. Attach power cord to machine and wall outlet
  3. Install foot controller in designated port
  4. Wind bobbin and insert into bobbin case
  5. Thread upper thread using automatic needle threader
  6. Select straight stitch for initial testing

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing needles.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow basic setup procedure.

  1. Turn power switch to ON position
  2. LCD display will illuminate showing default settings
  3. Select straight stitch using stitch selection dial
  4. Place fabric under presser foot and lower foot lever
  5. Gently press foot controller to begin sewing
  6. Practice on scrap fabric to adjust tension and stitch length

CAUTION! Always use proper needle for fabric type. Replace bent or damaged needles immediately.

  5. One-step buttonhole: Attach buttonhole foot, select buttonhole stitch
  6. Drop feed: Lower feed dogs for free-motion work
  7. Needle threader: Push lever down and hook thread through needle eye

WARNING! Always raise needle to highest position before changing settings or removing fabric.

Maintenance & Care

Regular cleaning and lubrication ensures optimal performance.

  1. Clean lint from bobbin area after each project
  2. Oil hook race and moving parts every 3-6 months
  3. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth
  4. Store with needle in highest position
  5. Cover machine when not in use to prevent dust accumulation
