Installation and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Attach power cord to machine and plug into electrical outlet.
  3. Install foot pedal and connect to machine.
  4. Install needle following arrow direction.
  5. Wind and insert bobbin.
  6. Thread upper thread through automatic needle threader.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedures.

  1. Select straight stitch using stitch selection dial.
  2. Place fabric under presser foot and lower foot lever.
  3. Press foot pedal gently to begin sewing.
  4. Use reverse button to secure stitches at beginning and end.
  5. Adjust stitch length and width as needed for your project.
  6. Practice with scrap fabric before starting actual projects.

CAUTION! Always use proper needle for fabric type. Replace bent or damaged needles immediately.

Stitch Selection

  4. Select appropriate presser foot for chosen stitch.

  6. Use reverse button to secure stitches at beginning and end.

Threading and Bobbin

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Raise presser foot and raise needle to highest position.
  2. Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  3. Use automatic needle threader for easy needle threading.
  4. Wind bobbin with same thread as upper thread for best results.
  5. Insert bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  6. Pull bobbin thread up through needle plate.

WARNING! Always thread with presser foot raised and power off.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Clean lint and dust from bobbin area regularly.
  2. Oil moving parts as recommended in manual.
  3. Replace needles regularly or when damaged.
  4. Use proper needles for different fabric types.
