Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging and remove all protective materials.
  2. Place machine on sturdy table or sewing cabinet at comfortable height.
  3. Connect foot control pedal to machine and plug into power outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, guide thread through bobbin winding tension disk.
  6. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in bobbin case with thread running counterclockwise.

WARNING! Always unplug machine when changing needles or performing maintenance.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedures.

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading guide on machine.
  2. Use built-in needle threader: Push lever down to automatically thread needle.
  3. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread and turn handwheel toward you.
  4. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  5. Adjust stitch length and width as needed for your project.
  6. Test sew on scrap fabric to ensure proper tension and stitch formation.

CAUTION! Keep fingers away from moving needle during operation.

  1. Clean lint buildup: Remove needle plate and clean bobbin area regularly
  2. Oil machine: Use sewing machine oil on designated points as per manual
  3. Change needles: Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing or for new projects
  4. Check tension: Test on scrap fabric and adjust if needed
  5. Store properly: Cover machine when not in use to prevent dust accumulation
