Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

Stitch Selection

Threading and Bobbin

  4. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, wind with bobbin winding system
  5. Insert bobbin: Drop-in style with arrow facing correct direction
  6. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you

WARNING! Always thread with presser foot raised and power off when possible.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug before maintenance. Regular cleaning prevents lint buildup.

  1. Remove needle plate and clean feed dog area
  2. Clean bobbin case and surrounding area
  3. Oil moving parts as specified in manual
  4. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth
  5. Replace needle regularly (every 8-10 hours of sewing)
